PERSONAL TESTIMONY
I was born in Utica, New York—the firstborn son of Clarence and Mary Walker. Though I was raised with love and strong values, it wasn’t until my teenage years that I came to know the love of Christ personally. The Lord used the faithful proclamation of the Gospel to open my eyes to the reality of my sin and my desperate need for a Savior.
By God’s grace, I trusted in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of my sins and the hope of eternal life. Since that day, my walk with Christ—like every believer’s—has had its seasons of growth, struggle, and sanctification. But one thing has remained true: without Him, I am nothing.
Everything I am, everything I do, and everything I hope for is rooted in the finished work of Christ. He saved me, sustains me, and by His grace, He continues to conform me to His image. My life is not my own—it belongs to the One who bought me with His blood.
